A man wanted in Pennsylvania for a home robbery with a stolen vehicle was arrested in Casper on Wednesday, according to court records.

Marshall Glenn McGinty, 43, was the subject of a search by the Pennsylvania State Patrol that placed him in Casper, according to the affidavit filed with Natrona County Circuit Court.

McGinty is scheduled to make his initial appearance in circuit court this afternoon.

The Pennsylvania Highway Patrol identified him by name and a photograph, that he was driving a blue Honda Fit bearing Pennsylvania plates, and was in possession of four assault rifles.

Cell phone transmissions pinpointed McGinty's location in the area of Legion Lane and then the east-side Walmart.

Six Casper police officers responded to the area of Legion and Walsh to develop a plan, and two of them went to the parking lot of the east side Walmart where they saw McGinty.

The other officers arrived, surround his vehicle and approached him at gun point.

They told him to raise his hands and exit the Honda, and he complied. McGinty confirmed his identification. The vehicle had a Kansas license plate, which belonged to a 2006 Chevy Malibu. Police also tracked the vehicle identification number on the Honda, which was confirmed to be stolen in Pennsylvania.

The case started Feb. 16 in Berks County, Penn., when he was waiting for a man who was house-sitting for the homeowner. McGinty was armed with an AK-47, which belonged to the victim.

McGinty ordered the victim onto the floor, bound his wrists, drove him to a bank and forced him to withdraw $60 from an account. He then drove the victim to a nearby reservoir and released him.

He has been charge with kidnapping, unlawful restraint, robbery, criminal trespass, theft, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. McGinty also has arrest warrants in several other Pennsylvania counties.
