A Casper man is accused of sexual abuse of minors during the course of the past 40 years.

Sixty-four year old Desmond Triplett is facing one count of first degree sexual abuse of a minor, one count of third degree sexual assault and one count of indecent liberties with a minor.

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say as early as 1975, Triplett was buying gifts for some victims, provided alcohol to others, and even helped one try to run away from home.

In some cases, he expected certain sexual favors in return.

When interviewed, Triplett denied the touching any victims or providing alcohol, and had no explanation in other cases.

He is being held on $50,000 bond awaiting trial, and could face between 25-to-50 years in prison on the first degree sexual abuse of a minor charge, up to 15 years in prison on the third degree sexual abuse of a minor charge, and up to 10 years in prison, on the indecent liberties with a minor charge, if convicted.
