One person has admitted to his role in scheme where a number of televisions were taken from a Casper hotel.

Gilbert Casias has pleaded guilty to one charge of burglary.

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say in May, there was an organized overnight burglary of nine new televisions, from the Holiday Inn on East Second Street.

Casias' job was to keep the front desk clerk busy, so that the security monitors couldn't be checked for a time.

Investigators got a lead when they found someone trying to sell the televisions on Facebook.

They also figured out that the organizer of the caper was a former employee of the hotel, who knew that management was in the process of replacing the televisions in all the rooms, with new ones.

As part of a plea deal, Casias agreed to testify against his co-defendants, and prosecutors will seek no more than a two-to-four year prison sentence.

Casias is being held on $2,500 bond, and will be sentenced at a later date.

All the televisions were recovered.
