4 Casper Prep Athletes Sign College L-O-I’s

The college signing season is upon us for high school athletes. Kelly Walsh's Maddison Dedic will be going to the University of Wyoming for track & field. She is the defending 4A state champion in the shot put with a winning toss of 40 feet 5 and quarter inches at the state meet this past may Dedic took 5th in that event in 2016. She took 10th at state in the discus in 2017. Wrestler Javen Palmer has signed with Chadron State. He finished 2nd at the state tournament at 152 pounds.

Natrona football player Chris Brown will be a preferred walk on at West Virginia University. Brown was an all conference lineman for the Mustangs this past season. His size caught the attention of UVW coaches as he stand 6-6 and weights 275 pounds. Kylie Watson is an early signee for volleyball at Casper College. Watson was an all state selection this past season for the Fillies. She ranked 1st on the NC squad with 345 digs and ranked 6th in 4A in digs per match.
