4 Arrested in Casper Gun Burglary and Meth Delivery Case

A police investigation into a Casper robbery has resulted in the arrest of four individuals. Two of the individuals face charges relating the the theft of firearms, all four are charged in relation to the delivery of Methamphetamine.

Nineteen-year-old River Dean Walsh, of Casper, is believed to have participated in the burglary of items including electronics, currency and several firearms from a Casper residence. It is further believed that Walsh traded these items for methamphetamine to 24-year-old Kyle Steven Barrus, who had recently been staying in the Casper area.

Some of the items reported stolen, including some firearms, were found at the residence where Barrus had been staying.

Further investigation led Police to the Bar Nunn home of 43-year-old David Harold Burnite and 41-year-old Maria Jean Jackson. Burnite is believed to be the methamphetamine supplier for Barrus. In the home, police found several items believed to be used in the sale of methamphetamine as well as some firearms that were believed to have been stolen.

River Walsh faces charges of Aggravated Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Burglary and Conspiracy to Deliver Methamphetamine.

Kyle Barrus faces charges of Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Burglary, Receiving/Concealing Stolen Property, and Conspiracy to Deliver Methamphetamine.

Both David Burnite and Maria Jean Jackson each face charges of Delivering Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Deliver Methamphetamine.

The case remains under investigation.
