A Casper man died last week in a single vehicle rollover crash south of Douglas, according to a news release from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Francisco Irrael Camacho, 22, was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer south on Interstate 25 when it lost traction on the ice-covered roadway about 15 miles south of Douglas at 9:23 p.m. Dec. 21, according to the Monday news release from Sgt. David Wagener.

Camacho was wearing his seat belt. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers -- Hilario Hernandez and Vladimir Figueroa Vera, both of Casper -- were taken to the Converse County Medical Center where they were treated and released.

Speed is being investigated as the contributing factor in this crash.
Camacho's death marked the 148th highway fatality in Wyoming for 2014.
