Casper police and Casper Fire-EMS went to Wyoming Boulevard and Casper Mountain Road after a Natrona County School District bus and Jeep Grand Cherokee collided shortly after 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Traffic is now moving freely after being backed up for hundreds of yards at the intersection.

Casper Police Department spokeswoman Rebekah Ladd said the Jeep was headed east on Wyoming Boulevard when it collided with the bus. It remains unclear which direction the bus was traveling.

Three people in the Jeep were transported to Wyoming Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

An unknown number of children were on the small school bus. None was injured and all of the students have been released to their parents or guardians.

As of 5 p.m., it was unknown if any citations would be issued.
