March was another strong month for Casper-Natrona County International Airport.

Airport officials say 9,446 passengers left the airport in March of 2013 – that’s a 27.3 percent increase when compared to figures from March of 2012.

Casper-Natrona County International Airport manager Glenn Januska says he was pleased with the increase.

“While I can’t say I was surprised by the increase, it’s always a little bit of a surprise to find out how strong of a month it was,” Januska said. “March was very close to what we saw in December.”

Januska says it was the 14th consecutive month of increased passenger traffic at the airport. It was also the airport’s best monthly passenger total since 1987.

Januska says the airport has seen a 24 percent year-to-date passenger increase.
