Two Indiana men are facing felony charges after Wyoming Highway Patrol Troopers say that they were found to be in possession of a significant amount of marijuana.

According to the Highway Patrol, 20 pounds of the drug was found after a car was stopped in the eastbound lane of I-80 in Carbon County near the community of Elk Mountain. Troopers say that the driver, 54-year-old Randy Rheinhardt, was originally stopped for speeding, going approximately 78 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone.

Both Rheinhardt and his passenger, 28-year-old Jon-Paul File are charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, felony possessive of a controlled substance in plant form, and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance.

In addition Rheinhardt faces charges of speeding and driving under the influence of marijuana.

The case is under investigation by the Highway Patrol and the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

The marijuana was believed to have originated from California to be delivered in Indiana.
