2 Idaho Women Killed In Crash Near Jackson
JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities say two Idaho women were killed and one man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash south of Jackson.
Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper David Richelderfer says 70-year-old Rita Lyle and 77-year-old Illa Kidder, both of Victor, Idaho, were killed in the crash. The Jackson Hole News and Guide (http://bit.ly/uxJolM ) reports 67-year-old Ernest Taylor, also of Victor, was hospitalized in critical condition.
Richelderfer says Lyle was trying to pass someone on U.S. Highway 89 shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday when she lost control of her pickup truck on the icy road. The truck slid 120 feet down an embankment and rolled onto its roof in an irrigation ditch.
