A man has been arrested after crashing his car into a fence in Casper and then fleeing into a church.

According to police, Nathaniel Lucas was driving near the 17-hundred block of South Washington on Saturday July 30th, when he drove into oncoming traffic and ran into a fence.

According to the affidavit, Lucas and the passenger fled the scene and ran into Word Christian Fellowship Church. Witnesses say that Lucas was pushing people and telling them to, "Move out of the way." He was then escorted out of the church.

Police later caught up with the two and placed Lucas under arrest.

He was then transported to the Natrona County Detention Center and booked on charges of hit and run-property damage, careless driving, driving under suspension and beach of peace.
