CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming's Insurance Commissioner says over 53,000 Wyoming residents were impacted by the recent security breach at Anthem Inc. insurance.

Commissioner Tom Glause says information containing individual and dependent names, addresses, Social Security numbers and birth dates of current and former Anthem customers dating back to 2004 was compromised.

Glause says Anthem company will send a letter to anyone affected.

The company is offering two years of free identity theft repair to members of the affected plans. Customers will be enrolled automatically. Affected customers can also enroll in AllClear PRO at no cost. That service includes credit monitoring and an identity theft insurance policy.
